This very simple addition to your existing cold air intake reduces pumping losses and helps to optimize intake velocity by straightening the airflow entering your cold air intake. It also propagates wave formation in the intake, making the cold air intake work more effectively.
A 3" silicone coupler may be used to attach the Prototype Racing Intake Bell. Alternately, it may also be TIG welded
to your intake. Slight reduction in overall intake length will be required to facilitate the addition of this piece.
The K&N RF-1048 is the recommended filter
for this application.
