2006 NDRA Comp4 Champion!!!
11.281@120.94mph (`05) 10.93@125mph (`06) 10.88@128.09mph (`07)
2006 NOPI Comp4 rules mandate an increase for minimum class weight: 2200lbs for K-series. Despite the added weight, Loan recently improved her trap speed considerably at the NOPI Valdosta event April 29-30 powered by IPS-K2's & our full featured, signature rotating assembly components. Loan Nguyen wins Comp4 with her IPS-K2 powered EK (2150lbs!) at the NOPI NDRA World Finals Norwalk Raceway - October 16, 2005!

Congrats to Loan Nguyen for being the first to hit 11 second ET's in NHRA Street Stock at a blistering 116mph on BFGoodrich Drag Radials! She took home her first Wally at NHRA Virginia April 22-23, 2006 and has continued to win Street Stock: E-Town (Spring), Atco, Colorado. Loan completed the 2006 race season as NHRA Street Stock Eastern Region Champion & repeat BF Goodrich Street Stock Bounty winner!
In 2007, Loan was confronted with a fresh set of challenges and took them in stride meeting them head on, tackling them one by one. Opening the season with NOPI under the revised-for-2007 PowerStreet class (PW/S), Loan competed against all types of forced induction (turbo/nitrous) platforms (AWD/FWD) that were restricted to drag radials. With the cancellation of the Comp4 class for 2007, Naturally Aspirated sportsman racers were grouped into PW/S and were allowed the use of slicks.
Loan's superior performance and stalwart consistency throughout 2007 earned her the NDRA PowerStreet Championship in the combined class.
In what has become the final year of the NHRA Sony XPlod Sport Compact Series, the BFGoodrich Street Stock class rules were revised yet again for 2007. K-series competitors were "awarded" an additional 50lbs. while B-series enjoyed a decrease toward minimum weight. Loan's NHRA Street Stock EK now had to carry a total of +350lbs over her B-series competitors.
Arising to another seemingly insurmountable challenge, Loan still managed to set the season's E.T. and trap speed records - 11.755sec. and 119.77mph respectively.
These performance records were set at Englishtown 1 and remain unbroken.
Loan Nguyen enters the NHRA Sport Compact History books as the only recipient of the BFGoodrich Street Stock Bounty throughout three seasons of arduous competition: 2005, 2006 and 2007.
